Howes Percival Reveals 12% Turnover Rise Following Sustained Four-Year Growth

Law firm Howes Percival’s turnover increased 12% in the year to 31 March 2026, according to its latest annual results.

With offices in Cambridge, Leicester, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Norwich and Oxford, the firm posted turnover of £46.8m for 2026, compared to £41.7m 12 months ago.

This year’s result is the fourth consecutive double-digit turnover rise, and Howes Percival has now delivered an average annual growth rate of 78% over that period.

In the last four years, the firm has added 25 partners and increased the number of other fee earners by 62, alongside investments in AI, training and leadership development and office infrastructure including opening an office in Oxford, the refurbishment of the Leicester office and moves to new offices for the Manchester, Cambridge and Milton Keynes teams, as part of its ongoing investment and growth plan.

Howes Percival’s Chairperson, Geraint Davies, commented, “This is another fantastic financial result for the firm and reflects the hard work we’ve put in over the last five to 10 years. In the last 12 months we have continued to invest heavily in our people, the technology they need to support them and in producing high quality office spaces for them and our clients. The significant growth which we continue to achieve has allowed us to make these investments whilst also continuing to maintain our profitability.

As a partnership we are able to invest for the long-term and prioritise organic growth. We have also been able to remain fully focused on the right things: client service, recruiting and retaining the right people and nurturing a unique culture of curiosity, collaboration and innovation. This culture makes Howes Percival a place where people want to work and will be the key to our success in the future as we take advantage of the opportunities that will arise in a rapidly changing sector. You can see the return year on year in our results, but we see it every day in the way our teams keep stepping up and delivering a fantastic service for our clients.”

In November, Howes Percival was independently ranked as the #1 Best Law Firm to Work For in the UK by Best Companies. The firm also retained the highest level of accreditation for ‘world class’ workplace engagement. The Best Companies list is widely acknowledged as the most searching and extensive research into employee engagement carried out in the UK.
