Allison Homes Site Managers Take On Gruelling Three Peaks Challenge For Construction Mental Health

On 12th June 2026, 11 members of the housebuilder’s Central region will attempt to summit the UK’s three highest peaks, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, within 24 hours, with the aim of raising £5,000.

Taking part in the challenge are Michele Raucci, John Cohen, Chrissie Matthews, Paul Vasey, Jacob Bingham, Gage Webb, Russell Patrick, Sarita Louzolo, Declan Rust, Grant Dean and Matas Baranauskas.

The Three Peaks Challenge is widely regarded as one of the most demanding outdoor tests in the UK, requiring participants to cover significant distances between each mountain while tackling steep ascents, long hours and limited rest.

The team is undertaking the challenge in support of The Lighthouse Charity, which provides 24/7 holistic support to the construction community, covering emotional, physical and financial wellbeing.

As a long-standing supporter of the charity, Allison Homes has seen first-hand the impact of its work through on-site visits and engagement across its developments. These sessions have helped raise awareness of mental health, wellbeing and the importance of looking out for one another across the industry.

By taking on the challenge, the team hopes to raise both funds and awareness, helping ensure that more people across construction can access the support they need.

Michele Raucci, Build Director at Allison Homes Central, said: “The Lighthouse Charity does some fantastic work supporting our site teams and contractors, so it’s great to see our Site Managers wanting to give back and support the cause.

The sessions The Lighthouse Charity regularly run across our developments have had a significant impact on those who attend, opening the door for many people to seek help and support they may not otherwise have accessed. It’s a real testament to the work they do, and the impact they’ve had, that our Site Managers are willing to take on such a tough challenge.

I’d also like to extend my thanks to everyone who has kindly supported the cause so far, including our valued supply chain partners who have made some incredibly generous contributions.”

Adam Knight, Managing Director at Allison Homes Central, said: “This is a fantastic initiative from our site team, and we are proud to support them as they take on such a demanding challenge. The Lighthouse Charity provides essential support to our industry, and this fundraising effort will help to ensure that continues.

“We would encourage anyone to get behind the team and support them in any way they can.”
