Aldi Scores A Hat-Trick With New World Cup BBQ Must-Haves

Aldi has hit the back of the net with the launch of its new World Cup food range, guaranteed to be a winner for footy fans this summer.

Landing in stores for the tournament, the line-up includes a Hat-Trick Wing Box (available from 15th June) and a mighty Match Day Mixed Grill (available 16th July), for £6.49 each.

First on the team sheet, shoppers can kick off the celebrations with the brand-new Hat-Trick Wing Box (£6.49, 1kg). Perfect for sharing, this huge 1kg box of succulent chicken wings comes with three separate sauce sachets, giving a nod to the tournament’s host nations: a classic Buffalo for the USA, a sweet and spicy Hot Maple for Canada, and a smoky Chipotle BBQ for Mexico.

For those nail-biting knockout games, Aldi is subbing in the new Match Day Mixed Grill (£6.49, 750g) from 16th July. This sharing platter is piled high with Chicken Wings, Pork Belly Bites and tender Pork Riblets. It also comes with the same trio of host-nation sauces, so fans can pick their champion flavour.

Football fans can score unbeatable savings on Aldi’s pizza range this World Cup, with the supermarket lowering the price of its Carlos Takeaway Stuffed Crust Cheese Feast Pizza (670g)Carlos Takeaway Fully Loaded Meat Feast Pizza (534g) and Carlos Takeaway Stuffed Crust Double Pepperoni Pizza (691g) to just £2.99 each (from £3.79). What’s more, the supermarket predicts it will sell over 14 million pizzas during the tournament, as world cup viewing parties take place across the country.

Aldi’s NEW Hat-Trick Wing Box is available in stores from 15th June, while the Match Day Mixed Grill lands in stores from 16th July.
