According to new research, more than a quarter (28%) of Brits shy away from Stilton®, and a further 11% have never even tried it, but Greggs is backing its latest bake to win them over, underwriting every single purchase so sceptics can try it completely risk-free.

Further research from Greggs found that 54% are put off spending money on a new food in case they don’t enjoy it, while 57% said that free ‘insurance’ on food would give them the confidence to try more new products and flavours.
The study also found that one in five (20%) Brits only try new food or flavours once every six months or less and more than a quarter (28%) say they can tell from just one bite whether they like it or not.
Despite 32% saying the strong smell puts Brits off trying Stilton®, and one in ten (11)% saying they have never tried it, a huge 47% agree that the combination is one of the great British pub flavour inventions.
The new Steak & Stilton® Bake leads the food-on-the-go retailer’s autumn menu and returns from Thursday 3rd September, bringing back the much-loved Steak & Stilton® flavour for the first time in seven years since the iconic Steak & Stilton® Roll left shops.
