Ferrari wins ‘Brand of the Year’ and the F80 ‘Supercar of the Year’ in CAR magazine’s Genius Awards

Ferrari has been honoured to receive two awards in CAR magazine’s inaugural Genius Awards issue, announced today. Ferrari wins Brand of the Year while the Ferrari F80 receives Supercar of the Year.

The Brand of the Year award recognises Ferrari’s ability to balance innovation and tradition together with ‘remarkable consistency of execution’, with an award-winning product range that includes V8s and V12s, mid-engined V6 and V8 hybrids, a class-leading supercar with a powertrain directly related to the Ferrari 499P which won the Le Mans 24 in three consecutive years from 2023-2025, and the ground-breaking and innovative new Ferrari Luce, the first all-electric Ferrari.

CAR’s Angus MacKenzie explains: ‘Ferrari understands the power of its myths and traditions but refuses to have its cars trapped by them. The Ferrari of the 21st century is not afraid to embrace cutting-edge, even controversial technologies to create the best-performing, best-handling, best-driving cars it knows how to build.’

In addition to the Brand of the Year, the Ferrari F80 scooped the prestigious title of Supercar of the Year, with CAR’s editor Ben Miller explaining, in a way that only CAR magazine could ever do: ‘The F80 doesn’t so much touch your emotions as work them like pizza dough in flour-filled shafts of morning light, expertly teasing, stretching and massaging until you’re ready to bake and then turning every moment behind the wheel into a feast of delicately orchestrated and impossibly potent performance.’
