Braintree Village Announces Refreshed Brand Lineup for Autumn, Including Superdry & Co and Sweaty Betty

Braintree Village has announced a refreshed brand lineup this autumn, bringing a host of exciting new brand openings, relocations, and refurbishments.

Fashion brand, Superdry & Co, will be opening on 13th November between Ben Sherman and HARIBO. The new 2,206 sq ft store’s collections will include the brand’s iconic outerwear to refined jersey, shirting, and denim, showcasing a range of womenswear, menswear and accessories at outlet prices.

Women’s activewear brand, Sweaty Betty, is set to open its brand-new 1,765 sq ft store in November, located between The Body Shop and Ralph Lauren. From technical gym, running and studio styles to versatile everyday layers, Sweaty Betty’s collections are designed to help women feel powerful through movement, wherever the day takes them. To celebrate the opening, customers can enjoy a day of exclusive experiences including refreshments, goody bags for the first 50 shoppers and the chance to win their entire basket.

Adding to the shopping destination’s contemporary menswear and streetwear offering, The Label Yard has just opened the doors to its first Essex-based store at Braintree Village, next to Guest Services. The 630 sq ft store stocks a variety of niche menswear brands, with the likes of denim and knitwear sitting alongside cargos and outerwear.

A range of Christmas pop-up stores have also opened at Braintree Village, including Lisa Angel, Christmas Cabin, and Calendar Club. Housed between Joules and Lindt, Norfolk-based lifestyle brand, Lisa Angel, brings its collection of jewellery, accessories, homeware and gifts to the outlet shopping destination for the festive season. Guests can enjoy 20% off almost all products in-store, as well as a dedicated section featuring items at 50% off. Christmas Cabin’s range of festive décor and gifts can be found next to Barbour, whilst Calendar Club’s pop-up store is next to Costa Coffee.

Alongside the exciting names joining Braintree Village’s retail line-up, three existing brands have moved to new homes within the outlet village. Kids Around is now located next to Jigsaw, Calvin Klein is next to Crocs, and Belstaff can be found opposite the Gift Company.

Josef O’Sullivan, Centre Director at Braintree Village, commented: “It is an exciting time for Braintree Village as we welcome a dynamic mix of new brands, relocations, and Christmas pop-up stores. From supporting independent female-owned businesses like Lisa Angel, to the arrival of leading fashion brands such as Superdry & Co, we are continually evolving our lineup to offer our guests the very best experiences.

“We are particularly excited to bring Sweaty Betty to Braintree Village following overwhelming guest demand, and we’re sure our community will be thrilled to shop the brand at discounted outlet prices this festive season. We look forward to welcoming guests to all the new spaces over the coming months.”

Lisa Angel, owner of the eponymous jewellery and lifestyle brand, said: “As an independent retailer, we are so excited to launch in a destination with such a great reputation. We’re passionate about creating spaces where customers can uncover something special, and we’re thrilled to bring the Lisa Angel experience to the vibrant retail community of Braintree Village, just in time for the festive season!”
