Taylor Wimpey East Anglia has welcomed Ipswich students to Wolsey Grange for a tour of the development to celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion.
Students from Woodbridge Road Academy were recently invited to Wolsey Grange to explore Taylor Wimpey’s development and hear an educational talk from the award-winning Site Manager, Alan Mills, and Regional Apprenticeship Manager, Julie Pearce.
Sian Ransom, Assistant Principal at Woodbridge Road Academy, said: “As a local school close to Wolsey Grange, we were delighted for the children to be invited to explore the development.
“We understand the importance of offering alternative learning by arranging visits like this one with our pupils. It was exciting to see the children get involved with the site and sales teams, and we can’t thank Taylor Wimpey enough for such an enjoyable and educational trip to Wolsey Grange.”
Julie Pearce, Taylor Wimpey’s Regional Apprentice Manager, said: “We were so pleased to welcome a small group of pupils from Woodbridge Road Academy, a SEND school in Ipswich, for an inclusive site visit.
“Our site manager for Wolsey Grange guided the pupils around the development, explaining the different roles on site and highlighting each stage of the build. It was lovely to see the group enlightened by his conversation. The group also met Danielle Brunning, who introduced them to her role in the sales team. We were so pleased to welcome the pupils to the development, and we hope they enjoyed their morning with us at Wolsey Grange”
Wolsey Grange is located on Poplar Lane in Ipswich and currently has a range of two- and three-bedroom homes available with prices ranging from £280,000 to £380,000.
