Lincolnshire homebuilder Chestnut Homes recently sponsored an Easter Family Festival hosted by Boston Ladies Circle 525, helping to raise over £1,000 for two local charities.

Boston Ladies Circle 525 is a part of a national organisation that brings together women aged 18 to 45 to make new friends and support their local community through volunteering, fundraising and social action initiatives.
On Saturday 4th April, the group hosted an Easter Family Festival at St Mary’s Church in Frampton, bringing together families, local businesses and community groups for a day of fun activities and fundraising. On the day, visitors enjoyed exploring over 30 food and craft stalls and took part in a raffle with a range of prizes, while children took part in an Easter egg hunt, arts and crafts workshops and more.
To help support the Easter Family Festival, Chestnut Homes donated £200 and contributed a £50 hamper for the raffle.
Thanks to the event’s success, £1,250 was raised for St Mary’s Church and Haven Domestic Abuse Service, which supports those in need across rural areas of South Lincolnshire.
Sophie Amber Horton, Chair of Boston Ladies Circle 525, said: “On behalf of all our members, I would like to sincerely thank Chestnut Homes for sponsoring our event. Support like this allows us to maximise our fundraising efforts and since our overheads are covered, every penny raised on the day goes directly to supporting our local community and our chosen charities.”
Robyn Pedley, Marketing Manager at Chestnut Homes, said: “We take great pride in supporting the Boston community wherever possible, so it was a no-brainer for us to sponsor Boston Ladies Circle 525’s Easter Family Festival.
“This event was a fantastic way to bring the community together over the Easter holidays, whilst raising vital funds. We’re thrilled to see the fundraiser was such a success and we look forward to supporting future charitable initiatives, as part of our long-term commitment to the town.”
